An instruction is created when you contact us, confirm your requirements, and we agree in writing to provide a specific service. We will issue written confirmation of the agreed service scope, fee, and terms prior to commencing work. No instruction is binding until confirmed in writing by both parties.
Our service fees are as stated on our website or as agreed in writing at the time of instruction. Fees are payable in pounds sterling (GBP). We will issue an invoice upon confirmation of instruction or at such stages as agreed. Payment terms are as specified on the invoice, typically within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to suspend or decline to commence services where payment has not been received in accordance with agreed terms.
Our services are provided on a professional advisory and consultancy basis. All advice and recommendations we provide are based on information available to us at the time and our professional judgement. Property markets can be volatile and unpredictable. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, yields, capital values, or results from any instruction. Clients should make their own independent assessments and, where appropriate, seek legal, financial, or tax advice before making property decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate & Ivy Realty Ltd's total liability to you in connection with any instruction or service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that specific service. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss or damage arising from the use of our services, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of anticipated savings.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
